Your Guide to Using the steadyGROWpro Blocks
SteadyGROWpro 6" Medius and 8" Maximus blocks are for growing single plants in one single block. Plants can be grown from cutting or from seed to maturity. Plants can also be started from steadyGROWpro sheet media or the 4" block and then transplanted to the 6" Medius and 8" blocks.

Preparation
Thoroughly pre soak brick with water and appropriate nutrient supply from the top. Check the bottom of the block, and the top of the block, to be sure the entire surface area of the bottom of the block is wet. Remember, the steadyGROWpro medium will adjust to the pH value of the water/nutrient supply you are using. Make sure the pH level is appropriate for the plant you are growing.

Sowing Seeds
You may sow your seed directly into the block. Be sure to punch a hole with a diameter of roughly ¼" and a depth of roughly ¾". Drop the seed inside the hole. Do not cover the hole with any other material. Water the seed hole again just enough to keep the top layer of the block moist. Do not over water. Move forward with germinating your seed per the specific instructions for your seed variety.

Sticking Cuttings
Cuttings may also be stuck directly into the 6" and 8" steadyGROWpro blocks. The steadGROWpro block will need to be punched with a hole anywhere from ½" to 1" in depth. The diameter of your hole should be slightly smaller than the diameter of your cutting. When sticking the cutting in the block, the fit should be snug, but not too snug to bruise or damage the cutting. As long as the steadGROWpro block is still moist to touch along the surface, you will not need to water the block immediately after sticking. Care for your cutting per the specific instructions of the plant. As a general rule, keep the surface of the steadGROWpro block moist, but not soaked.

Transplanting from SteadyGROWpro sheet media, plugs, or 4" blocks
When transplanting from sheet media cells or from plugs, cut a whole in the steadyGROWpro block so the cell or the plug fits snuggly into the hole. Fill any air space using left over steadyGROWpro media from the hole you produced. If media is needed, you can scrape from the surface of the block.

If you are transplanting a plant from a smaller block, just place the smaller block directly on top of the 6" or 8" steadyGROWpro block.

Watering SteadyGROWpro Medius & Maximus blocks
If watering manually, keep the steadyGROWpro block moist at the top, but not soaked. If using a drip irrigation system, set your timer to come on often enough to keep the top of the block moist. This frequency will vary depending on the temperature, humidity, and amount of light present in your growing environment. SteadyGROWpro 6" and 8" blocks should always be watered from the top. Do not attempt to sub irrigate the 6" and 8" blocks. Keep your growing environment clean . Be sure the block can drain well and it is not sitting in a pool of water. When drip irrigating, change your water and nutrient supply in your reservoir once per week for maximum results.

SteadyGROWpro blocks are wrapped with water resistant, eco-friendly material. However, excessive mouisture contact with the outside of the wrap may create unsightly growth. Avoid water spillage and contact with the outside wrap to prolong the water resistant quality of the wraps.

SteadyGROWpro is the ideal media for hydroponics and soilless growing. It is an inert and sterile growing media available in sheets, plugs, blocks and slabs.

SteadyGROWpro helps gardeners maximize results when germinating seeds, when propagating or cloning cuttings, and when growing plants to maturity indoors. SteadyGROWpro growth media is eco-friendly, and is a superior substitute to rockwool or coco coir.
